An ode to Reggaeton. Going over the decades to cover the styles and artists behind how the genre has evolved since its beginning in the early 1990s. Born from an underground movement, reggaeton is a blend of reggae and Jamaican dancehall with hip-hop and Latin music such as salsa and bomba, along with dembow rhythms, rapping, and singing.
